"Marshrutchik". Driver. The oldest, he's already over 50. Extremely responsible. Sometimes I say on the radio: if you come under heavy enemy fire, turn around, even if the work is "in the red". And my partner says the same thing. But "Marshrutchik" doesn't listen, until the last one.
I saw him scared once. When a mine fell next to the "mess". The shock wave was such that the windshield fell out. And so - a sociable man from the Khmelnytsky region, has a son who is an officer, loves hunting.
"Brook". The partner of the "Marshrutchik". The gunner. Has a brilliant reaction. Sometimes you have to "pour" on the move: the "Marshrutchik" turns around, and "Brook" works with a machine gun.
Recently, both of them went to practice on the firing range. They did everything. When they turned around, the clutch disappeared. The gears wouldn’t engage. They were ordered to wait and move away from the car. They walked through the bushes for three kilometers. “Brook” has a sore back, but he managed this distance. “Bardak” was later towed away by tank.
"Svalyava". Gunner plus pickup truck driver. He did a huge number of "evacuations". Recently, our guys were blown up by a mine. "Svalyava" left in an emergency, because every second was valuable. He has no sense of fear, although he was one step away from death. He got out of the encirclement, repelled an assault under drones, saved the company commander. In life, he is very modest. He does not like to be praised.
"Sosna". Driver of the second crew. Has been working with "Sosna" since December 3. But he drives no worse than an experienced "Marshrutchik". Optimistic, easily finds a common language with people.
On November 13, on his 45th birthday, a member of the Chub crew died.
He was a versatile fighter. He brought replacements to the position in pickup trucks. The enemy hit the car.
I didn't even think about quitting work on my birthday. I loved to cook.
He is survived by his parents, 18-year-old daughter Victoria, and brother.
On November 15, "Sanych" passed away. 57 years old. A wise warrior who never had doubts about what he was doing. His wife Olena was widowed.
